Ask in English

Which drawing tools does Leng manufacture?

We manufacture and supply drawing tools in tungsten carbide, steel and ceramic for the tube and wire industries and for bar drawing, plus custom tooling in hard materials to customer drawings. Every tool is made to order.

Regrind, don’t replace

We regrind and polish worn drawing tools to the next size — like new, at considerably lower cost.

How a Leng drawing tool is made

It starts with your specification or drawing. We engineer the geometry with 3D CAD and calculation software, grind the bore on internal grinding machines and calibrate it. The surface finish is still largely achieved by hand polishing with diamond compounds — work that demands care and experience.

Before delivery, every tool is checked with modern measuring equipment; an inspection report is available on request. More: Manufacturing and Quality.

Quality control: measuring a die bore
0.2–150 mm

Ground, calibrated and hand-polished — every bore a promise of precision.

Knowledge from the die shop

Know-how no catalogue carries

Making drawing tools since 1948 builds knowledge we share in our Knowledge section: die geometry with drawing angle and bearing length, the right grit sequence for polishing — and when regrinding pays off.
