Fritz Leng supplies the complete range of accessories for polishing and inspecting carbide drawing dies: diamond powder, diamond paste and diamond suspension (oil- and water-based, grit sizes 3–45 µm), grinding pins in electroplated, resin and metal bond, grinding wheels in standard and special designs, polishing sticks and felts, and pin gauges in twelve sets from 0.20 to 12.71 mm. We use these supplies daily in our own die production.
Diamond suspension, paste and powder
For polishing carbide surfaces we carry diamond suspensions on oil and water base in grit sizes from 3 to 45 µm — the same suspensions our own hand-polishing uses. Diamond paste and diamond powder are available on request. Which grit sequence belongs to which polishing stage is explained in How to polish drawing dies.
Grinding pins and wheels
Electroplated diamond grinding pins for carbide bores from about 1.2 mm are stocked: conical (4°–60°) and cylindrical types with 3 and 6 mm shanks. Resin- and metal-bond grinding pins and grinding wheels in standard and special designs are supplied on request.
Pin gauges
For checking bore diameters we supply pin gauge sets — twelve assortments covering 0.20 to 12.71 mm in 0.02 mm steps, with a pin tolerance of ±2.5 µm.
